Ipanema Sandals has partnered with Barbie on “Barbie Loves Ipanema,” a collection of flats, for women and kids.
Every sandal features a striped Barbie profile print on the footbed and a gold profile pin on each strap. Additionally, attached to the hanger of every pair of shoes, consumers can find a pair of Ipanema flip-flops to fit the compatible Barbie dolls. The styles are 100 percent recyclable.
The collection is available online on Ipanema’s website. Women’s looks are $28.00, while girls’ styles are $22.00.
Ipanema, based in Brazil, has partnered with supermodel Gisele Bündchen since 2002.
Barbie, meanwhile, has been a fashion fixture for many years, collaborating with the likes of Christian Louboutin, Oscar de la Renta, Dior, Burberry and Coach and many more.
