French fashion brand Kenzo is launching a new sneaker for the fall ’15 season.
Co-designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are introducing a new men’s sneaker, titled the Sonic, that will retail for $350. The style features a more technical design aesthetic for the label, which typically focuses on more fashion-minded footwear.
Though it reads as more of a lifestyle shoe than performance, the Sonic is made out of rubber, leather and mesh, and has a built-in tongue that hugs the ankle, offering a more aerodynamic step. It will come in four different colorways including safety orange, uniform khaki, camouflage white and jet black.

You can currently find it on Kenzo’s e-commerce website, and will soon drop at multi-brand retailer Opening Ceremony this month as well.
In the womenswear land, Kenzo recently debuted its spring ’16 runway show in Paris. Cutout over-the-knee boots in patent white and black made a big statement, as did sporty sandals done up in a variety of colors.
