Penny loafers come in both classic and new treatments. Brands like Bass Weejuns and Cole Haan have nailed the silhouette at an affordable price point, offering both suede and leather versions. Saint Laurent offers a luxe take on the style in black patent.

The smoking slipper, a dressier take within the loafer category, was also prominent for the season. High-end brands like Giuseppe Zanotti and Louis Leeman went for an evening look, using metal embellishment for extra pizazz. The slipper also went casual, with brands like Duke & Dexter using a world map printed on canvas.

The driving moc was done in new, colorful suedes this season. Classic brands like Tod’s and Car Shoe reinvented their staple styles in new colorways.
