Oliver Sweeney has released three luxury sneakers for the fall ’15 season. The men’s styles, which retail from $480 to $505, are made in Italy and feature high-end finishes like hand-brushed leathers, rubber soles and calf linings.
“Having been an avid sneaker freak for years, they have always formed part of the Oliver Sweeney range,” said Tim Cooper, cobbler-in-chief. “This season, we went to town, using the same fine calf from our favorite Italian tannery, and hand-finished them using techniques we normally reserve for our finest shoes.”

The styles include the Falerone high-top, Montappone chukka and the Osimo low-top, and come in various colors including a gray, brown, navy or burgundy treatment. They are available now on Oliver Sweeney’s e-commerce site.
Luxury men’s brands are increasingly jumping into the sneaker market, thanks to labels like Common Projects that have popularized the smart, dressy sneaker. Just this past season, both a.Testoni and Berluti amped up their sneaker offerings as well.
