The world’s of footwear and jewelry collided at Casadei‘s presentation in Milan on Sept. 22.
As a part of their ongoing initiative to introduce buy-now, wear-now styles each season, the Rimini, Italy-based women’s shoe brand collaborated with jewelry designer Ilenia Corti, on a a capsule collection of three bijoux adorned styles. Two stilettos and one starkly flat sandal (in black or gold) came tricked out with enamel coated gold botanic and animal charms.
The glitzy effort – which will retail now online and in Casadei stores – also features a small selection of complementary accessories.
For the main line spring ’17 offering, Casadei harkened back to ’80s-era glitz with chain-embroidered, elastic, strappy boots (very bondage-esque, very early Versace). There were also metallic platform mules and woven flats in riotous shades of rose, emerald and sapphire.
