Adidas x Y-3’s ‘Contra-Natural’ Chapter 1 Collection, Photos

Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto have collaborated yet again on a new distinct version of elevated sportswear with the Y-3’s spring 2024 “Contra-Natural” collection. Revealed on Monday, the collection features a number of apparel pieces and footwear styles defined by geometric cuts, detailed tailoring and expressive silhouettes.

Highlighted by pieces adorned with a digitally distorted floral graphic composed from scans of real flowers, as well as workwear-inspired elevated staples, the collection is available in shades of black, solid gray, and white– complimented with clay brown, mesa, shadow red, and mint. Available accessories include a selection of soft leather tote bags, wallets and card holders, which feature the same distorted floral graphic.

Additionally, new footwear silhouettes include the Y-3 Kyasu Slip-On and Y-3 GSG9 Low, along with the Y-3 Stan Smith and the Y-3 Country made from collapsable premium leather and adorned with piped details. The collection also features the return of the Y-3 Gendo and Y-3 Kyasu shoes in both low and high top styles. See photos below.
