White House Christmas Decorations 2022: ‘We the People’ Is the Holiday Theme

The theme for the 2022 White House holiday season is “We the People,” inspired by the introductory statement of the Constitution. “These words are the foundation of our extraordinary country and the Soul of our Nation. At the holidays, Americans come together each year in fellowship and faith, reminding us that we are stronger in community than we are apart,” says a statement on the White House’s website. The holiday décor features a portrait of former U.S. President Barack Obama, Christmas trees standing in the Cross Hall, images of first cat Willow and first dog Commander, and festive ensembles in each room of the presidential mansion.
