Celebrities With the Most-Expensive Shoe Collections in the World: From DJ Khaled to Kylie Jenner

Have you ever dreamed about owning a walk-in shoe closet filled with stylish footwear from your favorite designers? Understandably, some celebrities have chosen to spend their wealth on enviable shoe collections. But who has the biggest and most expensive “museum” of kicks?

Fast fashion brand Public Desire recently published a study of the biggest celebrity shoe collections, considering the person’s net worth, the value of their collection, and the type of shoes they own. Read on to discover the surprising results.

DJ Khaled, 10,000+ pairs, $8 million

According to Public Desire’s research, DJ Khaled has the world’s biggest shoe collection of over 10,000 sneakers. His kicks are worth over $8 million, which is ten percent of his net worth; the largest percentage on this list.

Mark “Mayor” Farese, 3,600 pairs valued at $1 million

Entrepreneur and long-time sneakerhead Mark “Mayor” Farese is a brand ambassador for Nike and Sneaker Con and boasts the second-largest collection of shoes at 3600 pairs of sneakers. He owns one of the rarest pairs of Air Jordans, the Undefeated x Jordan IV, which are valued around $25,000. Farese’s shoe collection comprises 6.25 percent of his $16 million net worth.

Jordan Geller, 2,800 pairs valued at $100 million

Another well-known sneakerhead, Jordan Geller, takes third place with place in volume but first place in value globally. His collection of 2,388 pairs of sneakers is worth a whopping $100 million and a quarter of his net worth. From 2010 to 2012, he displayed his impressive collection of rare kicks at a museum called the ShoeZeum, although he has sold and auctioned many of them since.

DJ Bigboy Cheng, 1,000+ pairs valued at $1 million+

Filipino DJ and sneaker aficionado has collected over 20,000 rare sneakers, although his collection is now around 1,000. The priciest kicks he owns are perhaps one of the coolest—the futuristic auto-lacing Nike Mag “Back to the Future” from 2016. The Nike Mags are valued at $85,000.

Chris Brown, 1,000+ pairs valued at $1 million

Rapper and singer Chris Brown has floor-to-ceiling shelving for his collection of over 1000 sneakers, all of which he reportedly brought on the road with him during a tour.

Kylie Jenner, 1,000+ pairs valued at $1 million

Kylie Jenner, who has collaborated on shoes with both Puma and Adidas, is a sneakerhead in her own right. She owns over 1,000 pairs of sneakers, including a plethora of rare Nikes like the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1, valued at $19,637, and the Stüssy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Cherry,” valued at $3,325. Another rare pair in her expensive shoe collection are MSCHF’s $76,000 Birkin Birkenstocks

Mark Wahlberg, 137 pairs valued at $100,000

Actor and Municipal co-founder Mark Wahlberg is also a sneakerhead. Somewhat surprisingly, his collection only includes 137 shoes, but it is valued at $100,000, still making it a notable one.

Michael Jordan‘s “The Dynasty Collection,” 8 pairs valued at $8 million

On their own, there are plenty of coveted and rare Nike Air Jordans with a high resale price. But when His Airness himself has laced them up, their value skyrockets. The so-called “Dynasty Collection” includes the eight pairs of Jordans he wore while helping the Chicago Bulls win the NBA Finals. “The Dynasty Collection,” all of which were autographed by Jordan, sold for $8 million at Sotheby’s in February.
