Yeezy 750 Raffles Canceled: Mr. Porter & Billionaire Boys Club

Just as stores are gearing up to raffle off the all-black Yeexy Boost 750s on Dec. 19, at least two retailers have already canceled on their eager customers.

On Wednesday, Mr. Porter tweeted that it would not be selling the sneakers on its site, but to make it fair it would be raffling off the chance to purchase a pair via Instagram.

Early this morning, the online retailer then tweeted that it would no longer be holding the raffle and the shoes would not be available on its site. They did not offer an explanation, but many of the brand’s Twitter followers accused it of selling the sneakers “backdoor,” before the rest of its customers had an opportunity in the raffle. Mr. Porter was not one of the official stockists listed by Adidas.

Also today, Billionaire Boys Club tweeted that it also canceled its raffle with no explanation, leaving its followers with many questions and no answers.

There are still plenty of raffles that are still happening through the weekend, including at Extra Butter, several Foot Locker and Footaction locations, Jimmy Jazz, Opening Ceremony, Shiekh and more.
