Adidas Partners With Kolor For Spring ’16 Collection

Adidas has recently delivered stellar collaborations with Japanese fashion label Kolor on some of its most renowned athletic kicks, giving them more of a stylish look. The two have joined forces again for a spring ’16 collection, the second season of the partnership.

For the second Adidas by Kolor season, designer Juniche Abe used its design expertise to reimagine Adidas’ Adizero XT and Pure Boost ZG silhouettes, creating multiple iterations of each style that will range in price from $285 to $340. The Adizero XT will be available in two colorways: tan and black, and white and silver.

The shoes will be available starting Friday at select retailers, including Barneys, Kith and SSENSE, as well as the brand’s website dedicated to these and other collaborations, adidasx.com.

Keeping both function and innovation in mind, Kolor used some of Adidas’ most celebrated technologies throughout the collaboration, including Climaheat and Climachill, as well as sub-zero yarn. The shoes also feature Boost, Adidas’ acclaimed energy-returning cushioning technology.
