Adidas has teamed up with Singapore sneaker boutique Limited Edt for the release of a collaboration using two of the brand’s classic silhouettes.
The Adidas Consortium x Limited Edt Superstar 80v and the ZX Flux will have its pre-release at Limited Edt on Nov. 22, as well as through its online store. The general release will follow on Nov. 28 at No. 42 in Paris, No. 74 in Berlin, as well as global Adidas Consortium accounts.
The Superstar 80v will retail for $150 and the ZX Flux will retail for $130.
For each of the shoes, Limited Edt – inspired by the country’s traditional Batik fabric attire – created a custom floral pattern that uses an orchid, Singapore’s national flower, as well as Adidas’ Trefoil branding and its store logo. The print appears on the upper of the ZX Flux, while it only appears on the tongue, lining and heel tab of the Superstar. Rose gold also makes an appearance on both shoes, including the heel stabilizer on the ZX Flux and the shell toe on the Superstar.
U.S. retailers that will carry the collaboration include Addict, Barneys NYC (on Madison Ave and via its website), Bodega, Kith NYC, Nice Kicks, Packer Shoes, Proper, Shoe Gallery, Sneaker Politics, Social Status, St. Alfred, Ubiq, Undefeated, Wish, and Xhibition.
