Adidas Originals is bringing back its sold-out Tubular Doom silhouette this season for a Sept. 9 release.

Offered in all-black, the Tubular Doom PK release will feature its sock-fit Primeknit construction, elastic forefoot strap and its structural three-stripes lace system and heel panel.

The Tubular Doom Primeknit has been a success for Adidas. The athletic label debuted the style last year during Paris Fashion Week, showcasing its four spring ’16 styles for its Tubular footwear series, which was inspired by 1980s running technology.

In January, Adidas collaborated with retailer Kith NYC on the Tubular Doom Primeknit, which was meant to pay homage to Kith’s home in New York. Sneaker lovers lined up outside Kith locations to grab a pair of the coveted shoes.

In March, Adidas Originals restocked its gray and black Tubular Doom Primeknits via Twitter. Followers had to click a link that was found exclusively in the brand’s Tweet to purchase the shoes online. And in July, the brand released the shoes in gray and navy colorways, both with a total Primeknit upper and a white sole.
