Both the low and the mid boast a single-piece tan leather upper with overcast stitching, stamped Stan Smith branding on the tongue, a gold-stamped classic Adidas trefoil logo on the heel (with “Stan Smith” on the low and “Adidas” under the logo on the mid), a white sole with Adidas branding on the heel and finished white laces.
Although this is the most recent Stan Smith luxury makeover, it’s not the shoe’s only luxury release of late. The brand collaborated with upscale luggage maker Porter on a pair of shoes using the Stan Smith silhouette, with the black colorway releasing Aug, 29 and the navy blue colorway releasing Sept. 12, both with a $120 retail price tag.
The Stan Smith was also featured in the U.S. Open pack, which hit stores Aug. 28 and retailed for $100. That shoe featured an all-white upper with orange on the heel and stamped Stan Smith branding on the tongue.
