The next iteration for Kanye West‘s Adidas Yeezy Quantum basketball sneaker is hitting stores soon.
Yeezy Supply, an official retailer of the brand, added a countdown clock for the highly anticipated Yeezy Quantum “Barium” to its website. The clock is ticking down until the shoe release at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 25; the sneakers have been listed on Adidas.com/Yeezy as well with adult sizes retailing for $250, kids’ pairs selling for $180 and infant sizing available for $160. Adidas’ set release time on its website is 10 a.m. on Thursday. As of today, Stadium Goods is selling the sneaker starting at $449.

According to @yeezyseason2 on Instagram, the latest Yeezy Quantum “Barium” was first rumored to release sometime June for $250. The style features brown panels on the lateral and medial side including a wave-like design throughout. Adding to the look is a black suede toe box and a molded heel counter. It’s standout feature are the reflective details on the sides and on the heel, as well as a plush Boost-cushioned midsole.
The Adidas Yeezy Quantum “Barium” and its tentative June release date originally was not been confirmed by the Three Stripes at the time. Reports also stated it will likely be to be available on Adidas.com/Yeezy and at select Adidas Yeezy retailers.
The Yeezy Quantum basketball sneakers, which West teased on social media since 2018, made their retail debut in February for the NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. The performance and lifestyle versions of the shoe were created and the lifestyle variation was reportedly handed out for free. It is currently reselling on StockX for around $710.
