The Air Jordan XXX has finally been revealed.
The latest court-ready Air Jordan silhouette made its debut at 12 p.m. EST today via a website dedicated to the shoe, Jordan.com/30. Larry Miller, president of Jordan Brand, confirmed at the beginning of the shoe’s presentation live from the Adler Planetarium in Chicago that it will hit stores in February. After the presentation, Nike confirmed via its website that the exact release date is Feb. 12.
“Every year, the Air Jordan is the most important product we create,” Miller said to kick off the presentation, adding, “Our goal every year is to create a product that is a leader in innovation.”
The shoe is a lightweight performance sneaker that features a woven upper, improved toe cap from the Air Jordan XX9 and FlightSpeed cushioning technology.

Also confirmed is that Oklahoma City Thunder star guard Russell Westbrook will be wearing the shoe on the court.

The brand announced it would unveil the shoe today with multiple teaser images of Westbrook, one of the brand’s sponsored athletes, wearing apparel from the label, but with the shoes blacked out.
Jordan Brand also has a signature shoe for Westbrook, a lifestyle silhouette, the Westbrook 0. On the court, Westbrook wears the Air Jordan XX9. Aside from Westbrook’s signature shoe, other ballers have signature product made for the court, including New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (the Melo M12) and Chris Paul (the CP3.IX).
