Back-to-Back Buzzer Beaters by Adidas’ Derrick Rose, Nike’s LeBron James

There has been no shortage of theatrics this postseason between the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. This weekend, Adidas-sponsored Bulls guard Derrick Rose and Nike-sponsored Cavaliers forward LeBron James hit back-to-back buzzer beaters, winning the games for their respective teams.

On Friday, Rose — wearing the white, gray, black and red player’s edition of his Adidas D Rose Boost 5 that he’s worn throughout the playoffs — took the inbounds pass with three seconds left in the fourth quarter, drove to the top of the key, and banked a three-pointer with time expiring. The 99-96 win gave Chicago a 2-1 series lead heading into game four on Sunday.

With 1.5 seconds remaining in game four, James evened the series 2-2 with a buzzer beater of his own. With the game tied 84-84, the Cleveland forward — wearing a player’s edition of the Nike LeBron 12 in all-white with maroon and yellow accents — took the inbounds pass in the left corner near the three-point line and drilled a long two with time expiring.
