Brandblack To Drop No Name Sneaker & Open L.A. Popup Shop

With its celebrated silhouettes, list of sponsored athletes, and appearances in renowned chains and premier boutiques, Brandblack’s name is quickly growing. To cater to its customers, the label will open a pop-up shop in Los Angeles next week.

In addition to opening the retail space, Brandblack will introduce a new shoe, the No Name, which launches Wednesday — the same day the shop opens to the public.

The Brandblack “Temporary Transmissions” pop-up shop – located at 8327 W. 3rd St. – will be open for two months, according to the brand. The shop will operate as both a showroom and retail space, and will feature the label’s spring ’16 footwear and apparel offerings, including its No Name sneaker.

The No Name is a basketball silhouette with lifestyle appeal, built with the brand’s on-the-court technology but designed to be casual and comfortable. The shoe features premium unlined raw suede, a parametric molded heel brace, an unstructured textile padded tongue top, a one-piece injected Jetlon bottom, Brandblack’s proprietary grip pattern, and a perforated breathable sockliner.

Last month, Brandblack launched its shoe worn by Josh Smith of the Houston Rockets, the Ether, which retails for $120.
