New Balance and snowboarding brand Burton are collaborating on a limited-edition line of to street-to-snow footwear. On offer are three outdoor shoe styles and three snowboard boot styles.
The Burton Imperial x New Balance snowboard boot is a new style inspired by the New Balance 710 silhouette and was developed in tandem with a new outdoor shoe, the New Balance 710 Vazee. The styles feature nubuck leather shells, Vibram soles, and heat-reflective foil for warmth.
The two brands say that their shared New England roots brought them together for this collection. Burton is based in Burlington, Vt. and New Balance is based in Boston.
New Balance has had a busy fall. The company opened its new 250,000 –sq.-ft. Boston headquarters in September. They also added sprinter Trayvon Bromell to its roster of athletes.
In the past, Burton has collaborated with Red Wing Shoes, Frye and L.A.M.B.

The collection will be available exclusively at select Burton stores and Burton.com on Oct. 24 followed by a global release on Nov. 1.
