In celebration of the aptly named Chactober, Chaco is holding a giveaway of its custom sandal styles.
With the holiday season right around the corner, the footwear brand is sharing the wealth. News of the giveaway was posted to Chaco’s Instagram yesterday accompanying a photo of an array of customized sandals.
Through the giveaway, 10 lucky Chaco fans will receive a pair of custom sandals that the winners can design themselves or for someone special. The free footwear event ends Oct. 30 at 11:59 p.m. EST and winners will be notified via SMS. To win, footwear fans will have to enter their email and phone number via a link found in Chaco’s Instagram bio. Once your info is entered, you’re in the running.
Recently launched through their website, Chaco’s customization program allows prospective buyers the ability to build a sandal to their specifications. Particular portions of the sandal can be customized including the main strap, heel leash, heel riser, footbed, sole and logo badge among other things.

Each customizable option comes in a variety of unique colors and prints so that the buyer can personalize their footwear down to the stitching. Even the base of the sandal can be switched out depending on which Chaco silhouette the buyer wants. The unique webbed construction of the Chaco sandal wraps around the foot and through the midsole for a custom fit that transitions into adjustable durable high-tensile webbing heel risers and sturdy injection-molded ladder lock buckles.
Chaco recently launched a line of trout-inspired webbing which customers can utilize through it’s customization process. The aquatic-inspired webbing comes in Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Brown Trout Blue and Brook Trout colorways.
Founded in 1989 in Colorado, Chaco was born with the mission to create the ultimate outdoor footwear made to last. The footwear was invented by fly fishing guide and white water rafting guide Mark Paigen.
