Cleveland Cavaliers Celebrate NBA Championship at the White House

Following President Barack Obama‘s meeting with President-elect Donald Trump this morning at the White House, Obama’s schedule went in a different direction when he met with the reigning NBA champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The team posed with Obama and brought along their championship trophy, which they received last month at their home opener of the 2016-17 season. Center Kevin Love presented Obama with a personalized Cavaliers jersey, too.

The team got to walk the White House grounds and go inside, where Cavaliers star LeBron James posed for a photo with first lady Michelle Obama, as did Jordan McRae.
