Converse has delivered many updates to its iconic Chuck Taylor All Star as of late, most recently with the Nike Lunarlon-assisted Chuck II. The latest reimagined iteration of the shoe gives it a more rugged, aggressive look than past revisions.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Descent Low — a unisex style — is in stores now and retails for $75. The shoe — available in black, charcoal and burn umber colorways — could be picked up via nike.com and converse.com.

The shoe that typically is executed with a canvas upper swaps the traditional material with a durable suede upper. To stick with the durable theme on the upper, Converse employs a double toe cap. The style also features a neoprene inner sleeve and tongue gusset to keep the shoe’s fit secure, and extended sidewalls to keep your foot protected from the elements.
Additional features of the Chuck Taylor All Star Descent Low include an EVA sockliner for cushioning, rubber outsole with upgraded traction and durability, and d-ring eyelets for secure closure.
