For those planning on checking out the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie, opening in theaters on Friday, why not dress the part in a pair of Chuck Taylor All Star DC Comics kicks?
Retailing for $60, the single unisex high-top is available for sale at Converse retail stores as well as online. The sneaker is part of a series of DC Comics collaborations that include a Superman series and feature the Gotham Sirens high-top and Joker high-top.
Actress Cara Delevingne, who plays Enchantress in the film, actually had a pair of custom Converse kicks made for her by a fan named Niki, who operates a sneaker customization business called My Custom Kicks. Niki created a one-of-a-kind hand-painted sneaker for her, inspired by Delevingne’s character.

While Converse is linking itself to the film, Adidas will also be playing a prominent role in the movie, with character Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, played by Margo Robbie, wearing a pair of Adidas heeled leather boots by Jeremy Scott.
