Converse Launches Valentine’s Day Collection For True Sneaker Lovers

Want to impress your significant other this Valentine’s Day? Forget about giving the expected candy and flowers. This time around, treat the special woman in your life to a pair of romantic kicks from Converse. In recognition of the Feb. 14 holiday, Converse is celebrating the love of sneakers and those who wear them with the launch of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Valentine’s Day collection.

The classic Chuck Taylor All Star and edgy Shroud and Fringe silhouettes pick up an iridescent cracked-leather upper and are being offered in black, white and red. The Shroud in black features an all-over iridescent leather pattern that fuses the upper and midsole to create a futuristic look.

The Fringe (which comes in white) offers an all-round ankle fringe with a pearly, prismatic sheen to the midsole, while the Chuck Taylor All Star has a bold monochromatic look in the signature red color of the romantic holiday.

Each sneaker picks up a metallic gold heart hardware detail, Chuck patch and eyelets for a true expression of the holiday. The collection is currently available at Converse retail stores, NastyGal and on Converse.com. Retail prices range from $85 to $115.
