Lifestyle footwear label Creative Recreation unveiled images from its fall ’16 marketing campaign featuring musician and brand ambassador Nick Jonas.
The season’s collection, according to the brand, is “a play on the co-existence of heat and serenity, the balance of sweltering and smooth.” The imagery showcasing the line reflects its inspiration, dressing Jonas in the red colorway of its Deross shoe. The Deross is a running-inspired sneaker boasting a Vibram outsole, Vatabond EVA midsole, easy on-off pull loops and the brand’s elastic stretch fit system.
Jonas was also shot in the brand’s Castucci and Ceroni silhouettes.
“I’ve been wearing some of the new collection during my tour,” Jonas said in a statement. “The shoes are versatile for both on and off stage. I wanted to bring some of the heat from my tour to the campaign for fall with Creative Recreation.”
Creative Recreation announced in April that it partnered with Jonas, stating he would spearhead key initiatives, which includes his own capsule collection, designed by Jonas himself.

“Our brand has maintained a great following among fashionable males,” said Jack Oerth, president of Creative Recreation, in a statement. “Nick is one of those rare celebrities who really crosses over and appeals to both young men and women. His collection will be a focal point as we seek to build our women’s business and continue to extend our brand into new retail channels.”
