When is Croc Day held?
Croc Day is today, October 23rd — which is also observed as National Crocodile Day, which commemorates crocodiles themselves. The reptilian animal has been the brand’s mascot since it was first founded in 2002.
Why did Crocs start celebrating Croc Day?
Crocs began celebrating Croc Day on Oct. 23, 2017. The occasion began when Crocs fans realized the day itself could also be used to celebrate the shoe brand, and posted about their favorite styles on social media, according to Crocs. Since then, the brand’s popularity grew even more, expanding the Croc Day celebration to the entire month of October — which Crocs has also playfully deemed “Croctober.”
Will there be sales or deals for Croc Day?
Crocs does list an array of sales and shopping deals on its website, which are specifically held during “Croctober.” Currently, the brand has marked down a variety of men’s, women’s and kids’ styles by 25 percent in various colorways, including the Classic Lined Clogs, Echo Slides, All-Terrain Sandals, and Classic Lined Neo Puff Boots.

Will Crocs release special shoes for Croc Day?
Crocs has released a new special shoe for Croc Day, which has already gone viral: the Crocs Classic Cowboy boot. This $120 style features a Classic Clog base with embroidered tall shafts, completed by themed Jibbitz charms and removable spurs in the spirit of Western cowboy boots.

What Testers Say: “I wanted something like this for extended international travel end of the year, but was 100% onboard. I mean a Croc clog?! Love them! I would say they run TTS but could be a little wide for a narrow foot. Comfortable without being overly squishy. They footbed had a texture that feels like a little foot massage.”
What Testers Say: “I wear a size 10 in women’s (and my feet are a little on the chubby side of down) and these were a perfect fit. These shoes are SO WARM so definitely not for hot summer days but for cool mornings or cool 60 or 50 degree spring/summer days, these are perfect. Very happy with my purchase.”
What Testers Say: “As a big guy, these sandals do the trick. I feel very stable on my feet, amazing support and very comfortable. There’s a small breaking in process but that’s the way all shoes are. These are my first Crocs and I’m incredibly happy with them.”
