Jeremy Lin Leads Hornets To Playoffs Wearing Adidas Sneakers

“Linsanity” aptly describes how the Charlotte Hornets ended a 14-year NBA playoffs dry spell.

The Hornets beat the Miami Heat on Saturday, 96-80, after point guard Jeremy Lin led a critical 18-0 run in the third quarter on Saturday at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

Lin wore white Adidas kicks with purple accents, and his “7” logo on the tongue and insoles.

The Hornets entered the game with 12 straight losses.

After his impressive game against the Heat, his name trended on Twitter. It’s been four years since Lin was catapulted to e-fame while playing for the New York Knicks. Sports fans made “#Linsanity” a trending topic on the social media network after the then-unknown star became known for turning around games during late quarters.
