Jimmy Jazz And Converse To Host Mural Artists Tats Cru For Customizing, Live Painting

Jimmy Jazz and Converse have got sneaker style and community development down to a fine art.

The footwear companies will jointly present a live painting session featuring legendary professional mural artists Tats Cru at Jimmy Jazz’s 929 Southern Blvd. shop on Sunday in New York City’s Bronx borough to benefit the neighborhood.

Customers who purchase Converse Mono Bright kicks at the store will be able to have them customized by the artists for free at the event.

Tats Cru will donate the painting to The Point, a community center in the borough that supports youth development and the revitalization of the borough’s Hunts Point neighborhood.

The Bronx artists are dedicated to creating community artwork and are best known for the late rapper Big Pun’s mural wall, as well as art for Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Metallica, Jennifer Lopez and more.
