K-Swiss Names New Palladium President

K-Swiss Global Brands announced today that it has appointed a new President to the Palladium brand.

Christophe Mortemousque, who most recently served as president of Palladium France, will now take over the role of brand’s president role. Mortemousque, according to K-Swiss Global Brands, joined the Palladium team in 1997, later becoming the owner of the brand in 2006. He was in control of the brand until K-Swiss Global Brands acquired it in 2009.

Mortemousque, according to the company, will perform his duties as president in Lyon, France and be responsible for global sales, product and marketing for the brand, and will continue to manage the global operations of PLDM, the French-based offshoot of Palladium.

“The Palladium brand was founded in France in 1947, and EMEA has been our strongest market since the brand relaunch in 2009.  I am confident that Christophe can maintain and build Palladium’s ability to blend city function with European style, and to grow the business globally” said Truman Kim, chairman and CEO of K-Swiss Global Brands, in a statement.

Mortemousque, alongside the other brand presidents under the K-Swiss Global Brands umbrella (Robert Capener for Supra and KR3W, and Barney Waters for K-Swiss), will report to Kim, according to a company statement.
