Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Varsity Royal Arrives Wednesday

The first signature shoe for NBA icon Michael Jordan — the Air Jordan 1 — will once again get the retro treatment as a low version of the shoe is set to hit stores next week.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Varsity Royal has an Oct. 7 release date and will retail for $130.

The shoe’s leather upper is predominantly black with pops of varsity royal blue on the Swoosh logo, the toecap and the heel, finished off with a white midsole and varsity royal outsole. Staying true to the original release, the shoe features the first Jordan wings symbol on the heel and Nike branding on the tongue and insole.

The Retro Low OG Varsity Royal is the first Air Jordan 1 to be released in October, but it won’t be the last. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC, complete with a white and dark-powder-blue upper, will be released Oct. 10. The shoe will retail for $160.

Following the UNC release is the black-and-white Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, releasing on Cyber Monday (Nov. 30) and retailing for $160.
