The classic Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” was one of the most highly anticipated sneaker releases of this week, and as expected, it quickly flew off shelves. However, pairs have already landed on the secondary market and resale prices for a majority of the sizes isn’t much higher than the $180 retail price.
For instance, the “stock market of things” StockX has pairs reselling for an average price of $259 at the time of publication. The lowest asking price for the iconic running shoe is $234 for a men’s size 8 with the highest ask at $316 for a men’s size 12.5.
The style is also available on GOAT, with prices starting at $248 for a men’s size 8.5 and upward of $349 for a men’s size 12, just like StockX.
The bold “Neon” colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 debuted in 1995 and was one of the first styles of the shoe to be released. The shoe sports a gray gradient fade throughout the suede panels on the upper, while the vibrant neon yellow hits cover the eyelets, tongue and mini Swoosh branding at the heel. The Air Max 95’s standout design are the large Air Max units in the midsole with this silhouette also being the first Nike shoe to feature a visible Air bag at the forefoot.
