Nike is a leader on the tennis court, outfitting some of the sport’s best athletes, including Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Its latest release is sure to enhance any tennis enthusiast’s game on the clay court.
The NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly Clay arrives Monday and will retail for $220. The shoe will be sold exclusively on the brand’s website, nike.com.
The shoe, according to the brand, was built for flying across the clay court, and features some of Nike’s most celebrated technologies to help players dominate.
The Air Zoom Ultrafly Clay boasts a Flyknit ankle cuff, a Flywire cable lacing system for a better locked-down fit, and both forefoot and heel Zoom Air units for lightweight cushioning. The shoe also features a mesh upper layered with a lightweight synthetic skin that keeps clay from entering the shoe, and a traditional herringbone outsole pattern for exceptional grip.

Nike released the first iteration of this shoe — not specific to play on clay courts — on March 9, the NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly, just before the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament. It was introduced in two colorways – white with volt and black, and an all-black silhouette.
