Nike, Jordan, Adidas & Under Armour Ballers Lead NBA Schedule Tonight

There’s a full slate of NBA games on tonight to satisfy the basketball enthusiast, led by some of the game’s brightest stars.

The most compelling game of the night is the Los Angeles Clippers (5-2), led by Jordan Brand-sponsored Chris Paul, versus the Dallas Mavericks (3-4). DeAndre Jordan spurned the Mavericks in the off season, opting to return to the Clippers after verbally agreeing to play for the Mavericks during the league’s free-agent moratorium period. Paul, in his latest CP3.IX signature shoe, will look to lead Los Angeles to victory over an agitated Dallas squad. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the New York Knicks (4-4), face the Charlotte Hornets (3-4) on the road. The Knicks, led by the Jordan Brand-sponsored Carmelo Anthony, have won their last two games, while the Hornets are coming off a 104-95 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Anthony will hit the court in his signature shoe, the Melo 11, and try to lead the Knicks to their third straight win.

The Kobe Bryant-led Los Angeles Lakers (1-6) will look to add to the win column against the Orlando Magic (3-5). Bryant will lead the Lakers in his Nike Kobe X signature shoe against a young and hungry Orlando squad looking for an important home win. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Nike-sponsored Anthony Davis is without a signature shoe but will undoubtedly hit the court in a player’s edition of the brand’s latest and greatest silhouette. He’ll lead his New Orleans Pelicans (1-6) on the road to face the dominant Atlanta Hawks (7-2), led by Adidas-sponsored Jeff Teague. Game time is set for 8 p.m.

The Denver Nuggets (3-4), led by Under Armour-sponsored rookie Emmanuel Mudiay, will take on the Milwaukee Bucks (4-4) at 9 p.m. Mudiay, who hits the court in the brand’s ClutchFit Drive 2 shoe, is having a great start to his career, averaging 12.7 points and 5.6 assists per game.

Rounding out the games tonight are the Portland Trail Blazers (4-4) at home to face the San Antonio Spurs (5-2). The Adidas-sponsored Damian Lillard in his D Lillard 1 signature shoe will look to defeat a tough Spurs team led by Jordan Brand-sponsored Kawhi Leonard.
