Nike Kobe 11 ‘Eulogy’ Drops Saturday

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant will walk away from the game he loves at the end of this NBA season. Nike’s upcoming colorway of his latest signature shoe, the Kobe 11, represents what will be said about the icon’s game after his last time on the court.

The Nike Kobe 11 “Eulogy” will hit stores Saturday and retail for $200.

The shoe’s upper features a hyper grape to black gradient, with hyper grape taking up the front and midfoot sections and black occupying the heel. The upper also features Nike’s swoosh branding in white on both the lateral and medial sides, as well as Bryant’s logo on the tongue. The right heel of the shoe features the numbers “8” and “24,” the two jersey numbers Bryant wore throughout his career, and the left heel features four red lines. The shoe is completed with an icy translucent outsole.

Over NBA All-Star Weekend, Jordan Brand gave a set of every Air Jordan shoe in white and black – both featuring purple and gold accents – to Bryant. The basketball player kept the white set and auctioned off the black set on eBay to benefit the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. The set sold for $240,100.
