If you’re trying to limit your upcoming sneaker purchases to just one or two pairs, it’s probably best to avoid stores that will be selling Nike next Wednesday.
The athletic giant is set to deliver four pairs of stellar kicks sure to fly off select retail shelves on Nov. 23 (and sell out on the SNKRS app), including a trio of classic silhouettes and a new court-ready basketball look.
For the retro basketball shoe fan, the “Black, White & Forbidding” iteration of the Air Foamposite Pro — commonly referred to as “Dr. Doom” — will hit retail shelves again with a $230 retail price. The shoe boasts a simple black and white color palette, with black taking up the upper (with white Swoosh branding) and completed with a white outsole.
If you’re looking for a basketball sneaker with a contemporary look, Nike will deliver the “Cool Grey” Kobe A.D., the latest signature shoe from NBA legend Kobe Bryant. The first iteration — also dubbed “Ruthless Precision” — boasts a tonal gray color palette with white accents and a metallic panel on the heel. The shoe will retail for $160.

The other two looks are retro favorites: the Air Max 90 and the Air Griffey Max 1. The “Winter Ready” Air Max 90 arrives in men’s and women’s sizing for $135, and come dressed with natural tones with an upper executed with premium nubuck. The “Flax” iteration of the Air Griffey Max 1 — worn by Hall of Fame baseball standout Ken Griffey Jr. — features a similar color execution to the “Winter Ready” Air Max 90, executed with a premium full-flax upper for the first time, according to Nike. The sneaker comes with a $150 price tag.
