Puma has once again teamed up with renowned New York-based streetwear retailer-turned-brand Alife for a new spring-summer collection, featuring reimagined iterations of some of the Germany-based athletic brand’s iconic silhouettes. The collection draws inspiration from soccer and Alife’s New York heritage.
“We have always been into sports and obviously New York Culture, it’s who we are,” said Treis Hill, an Alife crew member, in a statement. “We are really into football on-field and off-field apparel right now. And we wanted to design technical apparel with more of a streetwear-inspired feel.”

Puma’s Blaze of Glory silhouette gets transformed with a sprayed speckle Trinomic midsole, with an upper boasting neoprene material and nubuck leather.
The brand’s classic R698 silhouette also gets reimagined not once but twice for the collection. The first edition uses soft suede, embroidery and nubuck leather on the shoe’s upper, and the second iteration is black on black.

Alife also designed the Suede, under its cult favorite name, Puma’s States, with a pop art feel. The shoe was designed using glossy snake-print leather.

The collection will be sold at premium global retailers staring Saturday.
