With Halloween approaching, West Coast retailer Shiekh Shoes is holding a contest that will award its Instagram follower with the best costume a pair of the coveted Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboards sneakers.
The #ShiekOrTreat contest gives the chain’s followers the chance to vote on its customers’ best costumes in three categories: scariest, funniest and most creative. Everyone who votes in the contest will be entered to win a special gift package.
To enter the contest, you must follow @Shiekhshoes on Instagram, post a photo on your personal account by Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m. and tag the photo with @Shiekhshoes and #ShiekhOrTreat. The four finalists for each of the three categories will face off for the shoes.
The contest is open to U.S. residents, and only people with public Instagram profiles will be considered.

The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard has a colorway reminiscent of the hues seen on Halloween — an orange, black and white upper, with a white midsole and orange outsole. The shoe has its original winged branding on the upper and Nike Air branding on the tongue. The colorway was inspired by the jerseys worn during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy that featured Michael Jordan. During the game, Jordan shattered a backboard with one of his famous dunks.
