Nike Made 50 Pairs of Pink Victor Cruz Sneakers for Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is almost over, but there are still some great ways to support the cause.

New Jersey boutique Sneaker Room has teamed up with Nike and star New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz to release an extremely limited-edition “Pink Fire” colorway of the Air Trainer Cruz. The sneakers are individually numbered through 50 pairs in sizes 6 to 15. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to breast cancer treatment in New Jersey.

The Sneaker Room x Nike Air Trainer Cruz “Pink Fire” kicks are being offered at auction with a starting price of $1,000. If you’re not in the mood for a bidding war, buyers can skip the auction and purchase a pair for $2,000.

According to an Instagram video posted by Sneaker Room on Oct. 27, only 17 of the 50 pairs remain. Interested buyers must contact snkrroomcares@gmail.com to formally place a bid or inquire.

This collaboration marks Sneaker Room’s fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month sneaker auction. Previously, the store released Nike Air Force 1s in 2015, Nike Air Pegasus 83/30s in 2014, and Nike Air Max 1s in 2013.

In other Breast Cancer Awareness Month news from Nike, the brand has created a special colorway of Kevin Hart’s Free Train Instinct sneakers, though that pair has not yet been released to the public.
