Stephen Curry Nails 77 Consecutive Three-Pointers With Under Armour Shoe Release Looming

With just three days left until the release of yet another Curry One colorway – the Stephen Curry signature shoe by Under Armour – the Golden State Warriors posted a video of the guard knocking-down 77 three-pointers in a row in practice, ending practice making 94 out of 100.

The video was shot during the team’s April 14 practice, and showed the guard –who has hit more three-pointers than any other player in the NBA this season – drilling 77 shots from behind the arc in a row, getting visibly frustrated when he finally missed.

The MVP candidate is set to have another colorway of his Curry One hitting shelves April 18, the MI30. The shoe is one of the more subdued colorways Under Armour has released, a black and graphite camouflage upper with a white and gray outsole.

Under Armour has been busy with the Curry Releases in April, as the MI30 will be the third colorway released during the month. On April 3, two colorways of the star guard’s signature shoe became available for purchase: the Underdog, a predominantly gray boot with red and white accents; and the Away, a black, gold and white colorway. Both pairs retailed for $120.

This three-point feat also wasn’t Curry’s first accomplishment from long range in April. The guard hit a three-pointer in the second quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers on April 9, giving him 273 three-pointers made for the season, breaking the season record for number of three’s made – a record he set in the 2012-13 season.
