Supra turned heads and solidified its position as a skateboarding and sneakerhead favorite with its Skytop franchise, especially the Skytop III that was released in 2011. The label hopes to have that same reaction again with its upcoming Skytop drop.
The Supra Chad Muska Skytop III CD — the only midcut silhouette in the Skytop franchise — is in stores now and will retail for $100. The shoe will be available at Supra retailers and via the brand’s website, suprashoes.com, in three colorways: all red; black, charcoal and white; and white and black.
The shoe, according to the brand, is an improved iteration of the original released five years ago, boasting a lighter weight and more versatile design. Although it kept its original sole construction featuring its proprietary Suprafoam midsole construction and a molded rubber outsole, the shoe boasts a revamped TPR cage with, as well as a new lightweight mid-cage with laser-cut accents.
