Von Miller to Wear ‘Freak Show’ Cleats Ahead of Monday Night’s Game

We already knew Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller loves shoes. Last month, Miller told his teammate Demarcus Ware in an interview that he owns 800 pairs of shoes.

Despite the NFL‘s crackdown on players wearing cleats that are outside the league’s guidelines, the Adidas-sponsored Miller isn’t afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to game-day footwear. During pre-game warmups for the Broncos bout with the Houston Texans, Miller will wear custom Adidas “The Freak Show” cleats.

The cleats are inspired by 19th century freak shows, complete with circus tent-inspired red and white stripes, bright colors and prints and the words “Bizarre” and “Alive” on the sides of the shoes. In February, Adidas announced that Miller is the face of its Freak franchise of cleats, apparel and accessories.
