Reservations For Yeezy Boost 750s Close In 55 Seconds

The Adidas Originals Confirmed app closed less than a minute after it opened for reservations.

The sneaker reservation app opened at 4 p.m. EDT Wednesday, allowing customers the opportunity to try to reserve a pair ahead of the June 11 release date. Adidas Originals sent out a tweet that the app was open, and 55 seconds later, the brand tweeted that reservations were closed. This is by far the quickest sellout on the app.

During the last release of the black Yeezy Boost 350s, the app was open for 22 minutes. For the prior two releases — the tan 350s and black 750s — the app was open for about 10 minutes.

Adidas Originals made some major changes to the app in order to make it more fair for customers, but many are likely left empty-handed. Originally available only in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, the app has now been expanded to more U.S. and European cities, which clearly translated into an incredibly high influx of people attempting to get the sneakers.

The shoes will be released in select retailers worldwide, as well as on the Adidas website, on Saturday.
