A Denim Air Jordan 1 High Sneaker Is Releasing Exclusively for Women in June

The Air Jordan 1 will soon take on a denim makeover.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Denim” is set to release in mid-June as a women’s-exclusive. Several different fades are applied to the sneaker as it’s namesake material takes over the entire upper. Light wash denim forms the overlays, while the overlays are bleached white with a slight bleeding effect leading toward the heel. The collar and Swoosh then utilize black denim, and a white midsole sits above a brown outsole.

This summer’s rendition is the second Air Jordan 1 High to feature denim, following a 2022 release with leather underlays, frayed denim overlays and a massive gold-tone metal Jumpman lace dubrae that was also exclusive to women. The Air Jordan 1 Low has also taken on denim a number of times, including a drop last year featuring sashiko Japanese stitching.

Most popular of all the denim Air Jordan sneakers is the Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 collaboration from 2018, which saw the upper taken over with options for in black, white and raw denim. A number of those who landed a pair then took advantage of the opportunities the denim presented by customizing their sneakers with bleach, dye and distressing treatments.
