The signature vegan leather sneaker includes all of the facets of a good comfortable recovery sneaker for men and women. Retailing for $185, the sneaker’s details include extra padding in the interior collar along with a midsole containing a honeycomb wall that encapsulates a cushioning system that offers the wearer extra support. The shoe also utilizes an invisible lift system that provides the wearer with a 2-inch lift.
Finally, the footwear features a horseshoe-shaped insole that promotes alignment, stability and balance. Additionally, the Alo X O1 Classic is extremely lightweight and utilizes technology that provides the wearer with high rebound cushioning, making for a more responsive shoe. First launched online on May 19, the initial drop of sneakers sold out in 30 minutes, according to Alo Yoga’s CEO Danny Harris. The second drop, which came on May 31, sold out in 27 minutes and was followed by two blow-out in-store events in New York and Miami. Right now, the style maintains an “impressive” wait list, Harris noted in a June interview with FN.
Founded in 2007 by Harris and Marco DeGeorge in Los Angeles, Alo Yoga was created as a means to inspire people to practice yoga. Since its conception, the activewear brand has grown exponentially, becoming a worthy competitor to other athletic brands. Alo Yoga’s estimated annual revenue is currently $247.1M per year according to an article from OptiMonk. The brand has committed to an aggressive store opening strategy where they will be opening one new store every week according to Harris.
The restock of Alo Yoga’s famed footwear has hit www.aloyoga.com and all US and Canada stores in a range of sizes today.
