Dior Men’s to Release B57 Retro Sneaker Next Week

Dior is set to launch its latest men’s sneaker later this month.

Dubbed the B57, the new retro basketball-inspired silhouette was first seen as part of the French luxury brand’s men’s spring 2024 collection show in Paris back in June.

Designed by Dior Men’s creative director Kim Jones, the house’s newest sneaker is a combination of its B27 style, first introduced in 2020, and elements of its sportier B30 design, released a year later.

The resulting B57 sneaker model features CD initials on its side in either Dior’s signature oblique jacquard fabric or in leather. The leather hi-tops are available in gray, black, red, beige or cream, some of which are a play on house colors.

This is the latest men’s sneaker launch by the brand. In July, Dior Men’s released the B33 sneakers in three versions. The first features multi-colored mohair detail on the sides of the upper, the second is covered in the Dior Oblique motif and the third is covered in denim as part of the brand’s Dior Tears capsule collection in partnership with Tremaine Emory of Denim Tears. Each sneaker is finished with the “Dior 30 Avenue Montaigne” signature on the heel in a shade of grey, the founding couturier’s signature color.

This release also featured a Dior first – NFC technology embedded inside the shoes. According to the brand, the popular authentication technology was placed in the sole of each right foot in order to act as a encrypted digital key for the shoe. When activated, the chip leads to a personal, secure platform offering dedicated services, Dior said.

Sign-up to purchase Dior’s new B57 sneaker is now open before it hits stores on Oct. 19.
