Arriving just in time for summer, Dior‘s newest sneaker is perfect for stepping out to see and be seen.
From the mind of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the Dior Chrono serves up a fresh take on the running shoe revamped with the House’s couture codes. The sporty silhouette, which debuted as a part of the brand’s fall 2024 collection, combines sporty mesh with shimmery leather-effect panels and sits on a featherlight sole. Standout details include the heritage CD initials emblazoned on the side and a star patch on the tongue.
Certain models feature pops of nude, white, black, silver or gold. Two-toned laces literally and figuratively tie the look together.
This new silhouette follows in the footsteps of Dior’s B9S skate model and last summer’s B33. Notable about those models designed by Dior men’s creative director Kim Jones was the use of the fashion house’s exclusive NFC technology. The special tech delivers access to a “digital product passport” providing an authentication certificate via a private platform.

Dior has been making more of an impact in the sneaker market in recent years, especially with the launch of the highly sought-after Air Jordan 1 High collaboration in 2020. The luxury French label also collaborated with a musician for the first time when they linked with rapper Travis Scott on the B713 sneaker, another skate-inspired look.

The Dior Chrono sneaker pre-launches on Dior.com starting on May 23 and will be available to shop in boutiques on May 30.
