Gola is reviving its archive sneakers with a twist, thanks to Engineered Garments.
Engineered Garments’ Daiki Suzuki has brought back the footwear label’s discontinued Sentry sneakers — originally launched in 2005 to celebrate Gola’s 100th anniversary — bringing the style into the 2020s for his latest collaboration. The resulting $280 shoe features its signature paneled uppers and round-toed shape, cast in three monochrome colorways of black, white and chocolate brown for a sharply versatile spin.
The Sentry’s silhouette includes paneled leather and suede uppers, complete with matching front laces overlaid with a leather front strap. The style’s capped toes are cast in leather that matches each of its palettes, while Gola’s “Made in England” lettering accents finish its sides. Cushioned leather insoles with “Gola for Engineered Garments” lettering complete the shoe with a graphic twist, while flat rubber cup soles finish the shoe with comfort-focused ease.

Gola’s collaboration with Engineered Garments marks the English brand’s latest co-branded launch. Previously, the shoe brand launched co-branded footwear styles with a range of brands over the years, including Zara, J.Crew and Oliver Bonas.
The occasion also marks Engineered Garments’ latest brand collaboration, as well. The label has previously released a wide range of co-branded product launches with footwear brands over the years, including Hoka, Dr. Martens, K-Swiss and Paraboot, among others.
