One of the consensus picks for the best Nike Air Force 1s of all time is about to get its first-ever wide release.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Linen” is set to drop in mid-June with wider availability than it’s ever had before. Coming out of the Co.Jp series in 2001, the AF1 “Linens” released exclusively in Japan and became one of the most-sought after variants in the model’s history. Kith held an exclusive rerelease for the sneaker in 2016 to commemorate its Miami store opening, and now more ‘heads will have a shot at the once super-rare shoe.
This year’s rerelease stays true to its predecessors, even bearing the same SKU as the 2016 edition, with its khaki-colored leather upper. Pink then pops out through its use on the Swoosh, as well as the marks on the toe, tongue and heel, in addition to the midsole’s raised “Air” branding. Pink is also used for the outsole, while the midsole, tongue, laces and lining appear in white.

The Co.Jp series, short for “Concept Japan,” helped set the stage for modern sneaker culture through its limited-edition colorways released only in Japan. Co.Jp Dunks would inspire the SB line just a few years later, and many of those same sneakers have now been brought back this year as part of Nike‘s “Cult Classics” series.
