Rare Nike Dunks Gifted by Sandy Bodecker Are Up for Auction on eBay

In 1985, a pair of Nike Dunks was gifted to former Nike executive Rodney Tallman from former Nike VP of Special Projects Sandy Bodecker. The maroon, white and gold pair of Nike Dunk High USC OG are now up for auction on eBay in a size 9.

At the time of writing, the kicks were up for $1,526.56. The bidding for these historic sneakers ends on Sept. 27 at 9:03 p.m EST. The shoes are stamped with a Sept. ’85 production date, authenticating the time frame in which the footwear was produced.

They shoes are believed to be the only pair in existence. The footwear boasts a distinct University of Southern California colorway, leading many to believe that it hailed from Nike’s “Be True To Your School” collection also released back in 1985. The sneakers come packaged in a sample box with Bodecker’s name scrawled across the top.
