Nike is set to kick into high gear for the 2024 Paris Olympics as July begins.
The Summer Games dominate Nike’s plans for the month, including dedicated colorways in basketball and running through the Ja 1, AlphaFly 3 and more. In fact, Nike’s leading super shoe will get three new colorways over the course of the month, more than doubling the amount that had previously dropped.
Of course, retro releases will also have their moment with the first-ever rerelease of the KD 4 “Nerf” and the highly anticipated return of the Air Max Sunder.
Below, Footwear News takes you through all the best Nike releases in July. The Swoosh likely has a number of surprises in store as well, be they Olympic-related or not, and this post will be updated as more information becomes available. Nike KD 4 “Nerf”
Release Date: July 1
Price: $150
Kevin Durant’s streak of retros continues with the first ever reissue of the KD 4 “Nerf.” Only 300 pairs of the shoe were originally made when it released in 2011.
Nike Ja 1 “Reverse Scratch”
Release Date: July 1
Price: $130
Debuted on the court by Ja Morant way back in February 2023, the “Reverse Scratch” edition of the Nike Ja 1 finally gets a release. As the name suggests, it’s essentially the inverse of the “Scratch” colorway inspired by the Memphis Grizzlies’ throwback uniforms.
Nike Ja 1 “USA”

Price: $120
Another new Ja 1 colorway is set to drop as part of Nike’s slate for the Paris Olympics, despite Ja Morant not being named to the U.S. men’s basketball team.
Nike AlphaFly 3 “Blueprint”
Release Date: July 3
Price: $285
A month packed with Nike AlphaFly 3 releases begins with a “Blueprint” edition coming alongside a number of other basketball and running shoes with the same theme. This is just the third drop yet for Nike’s leading super shoe.
Nike Air Max Sunder “Canyon Gold”
Release Date: July 11
Price: $180
Nike’s revival of its Air Max Sunder, a cult classic from 1999, begins with a “Canyon Gold” variant as one of several bright colorways.
Nike Sabrina 2 “Conductor”
Release Date: July 12
Price: $130
Sabrina Ionescu’s second signature sneaker gets its second colorway, as “Conductor” invokes her role as the New York Liberty’s on-court director. Expect to see a lot of the unisex sneaker on both WNBA and NBA courts.
Nike AlphaFly 3 “Hyper Pink”
Release Date: July 18
Price: $285
The second Nike AlphaFly 3 of the month brings a dash of pink to race day.
Nike AlphaFly 3 “Safari Olympic”
Release Date: July 24
Price: $300
It’s hard to imagine a bolder edition of the AlphaFly 3 will follow its “Safari Olympic” makeup, which is one of several sneakers in basketball and running celebrating the Summer Games while paying homage to the Air Safari from 1987.
Nike GT Hustle 3 “Safari Olympic”
Release Date: July 24
Price: $205
The GT Hustle takes the “Safari Olympic” theme even further with spots covering both its upper and midsole. Similar treatments will also come to the GT Cut 3 and GT Jump 2.
