The race to deliver the best super shoe is on, and Saucony just revealed its latest high-performance running shoe.
Saucony’s latest super shoe is the Endorphin Elite 2, a lightweight and efficient look the brand explained was created with “innovative next-level foam” to offer the wearer a soft, bouncy and energetic feel. The brand equipped the shoe with an “aggressive” carbon fiber plate along with its proprietary Speedroll technology, which was “engineered to propel the runner forward efficiently.” Also, the shoe features uppers with supportive ultralight mesh and adaptable knit tongues, as well as molded 3D heel counters for a secure fit and upgraded Pwrtrac outsoles for wet surface traction.
A limited number of the race-ready Endorphin Elite 2 will go on sale July 1 at 10 a.m. ET via Saucony.com. It will launch globally in spring 2025, and will be available for purchase at Saucony.com and select retailers. The Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 will be available in men’s and women’s sizing, and retail for $275.

What’s more, Saucony confirmed three-time Canadian Olympic marathoner Malindi Elmore — one of its athlete ambassadors — will be wear the Endorphin Elite 2 during the marathon at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Elmore — a 44-year-old mother of two — won the Canadian 10k Championships in May with a time of 32:50 while wearing the Elite 2.
“Malindi’s years of running success have culminated in her third appearance at the Games as well as the development of the Endorphin Elite 2,” Saucony chief product officer Brian Moore said in a statement. “Alongside our other elite athletes including Jared Ward and Vanessa Fraser, she has contributed to its development both in our performance lab and out on the roads. At Saucony, we are dedicated to exceeding the expectations of runners, and their feedback drove us to create an aggressive race day shoe that feels fast and unleashes performance potential. With the Elite 2, we are proud to deliver the most innovative product in the super shoe category to the marketplace. We are confident that Malindi will have an exceptional race experience in the Elite 2 at the marathon in Paris.”
